Actors Needed For Play "Through Cern's Eyes"
Auditions for play "Through Cern's Eyes". Looking for cast. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: A young child named Erika tumbles her way into a magical realm, where she encounters many strange creatures. She comes face to face with a great being who requests her aid against a dark force growing within their world. Sean wrote Through Cern's Eyes as a play in 2012, then rewrote it in 2016, and adapted it into a book over the years since, now finally rewriting the play again based on the book. Strong messages of LGBTQIA+ inclusion, environmentalism, self-discovery, the traumas that dwell within, and the trials to overcome all exist within these pages. Inspired by their own spiritual beliefs and desire to care for the environment, Sean speaks out using this play. Through Cern's Eyes puts the fantastical spirits of Celtic European Paganism in a modern world to bring you a message to strive for. Additional info: Those auditioning are expected to come with a minute long monologue and be prepared to perform some improv exercises. Through Cern's Eyes has a large cast and is fantastical in design. Rehearsals will begin in March, with the performances on April 28, 29 at 7 pm and the 30 at 2 pm.
