High School Musical lyricist Faye Greenberg and composer David Wohl have written four delightful period songs for the Feddington Players, and swing arrangements of many Christmas standards. Mutual Announcer, front man for WOV’s Nash-Kelvinator Mystery Theatre. Broadcasts his Friday night “Man with No Tomorrow” private eye radio drama. Wears wire frame glasses like Glenn Miller. Known for being cheap. Has a crush on Judith.
70-year-old retired star of stage and screen. Dramatic mane of white hair. Bit of a curmudgeon, looks down on radio. His son David was killed in the war when his plane was shot down. A guest performer in tonight’s show, playing Scrooge.
Funny man. Has a day job as a baker. A little stout. Has a hopeless and unrequited crush on Margie. As a regular, plays Mishke Bibble among other cameos.
Former Florsheim shoe salesman, now a WOV regular. Plays private eye Rick Roscoe, star of “The Man with No Tomorrow”. Resident masher, cynic, and wise-guy. Always nattily dressed and well groomed.
Not actually little, but young. A tenor with a high speaking voice. Just graduated high school, lives at home with mom. Teased a lot. Has a paper route.
Quite a cutup, Judith is the resident “leading lady” playing all such roles as a regular. Considers herself a legitimate actress, works as a switchboard operator by day at a Manhattan Ad agency.
Brassy, flippant with a voice to match. A company regular, playing the comedic roles. 30-year-old Irish comedienne lives in Queens. Works days as an office manager for a Doctor’s office. Has appeared on countless radio shows!
Sally seems sweet and gentle, but is a tough lady. Does all the animals, babies, insects, little kids, etc…in addition to being a radio personality on WOV, she takes the train daily to work for Republic Aviation every day, operating drill presses and riveting guns to support the war effort.
24 year old sound effectician. Has a sharp wit and always seems to be in a good mood. Spends lots of time with Sally Simpson. Lives alone. Wears an FDR button.
Musical Director, composer and pianist for the Mystery Theatre. Provides musical underscoring for several other broadcasts.
