Women With Lipedema Needed for Documentary Project

Casting women with lipedema in documentary project, please see the details below. About the project: Casting women nationwide for a documentary produced by an Emmy award-winning filmmaker in association with lipedema foundation, to spread awareness about the condition and give women experiencing all stages of lipedema a chance to be seen and heard. Rate: Participation stipend: chosen participants will be given a $2000 stipend to cover any associated archival materials (photos, videos, etc.) Which will be incorporated to accurately tell each woman’s story. Additional info: This project will be filmed documentary style, in a minimally intrusive way. The team will be working to portray each participant’s story with respect and care; chosen participants will only be asked to share as much as they are comfortable sharing on camera. The team will be focusing on people’s stories as a whole, beyond their lipedema diagnosis. No on-camera experience is necessary. Filming window: January 2027.
