Casting a brand film for Santa Lucia, which follows a woman on a motorcycle road trip from L.A. to Las Vegas.
2 roles
A large, strong Native American woman with a striking presence. She appears at a remote gas station when Clara struggles to lift her Harley. Without a word, she shows her how, then embraces her. Unlike her earlier encounter with Claire, Clara now accepts the hug. Lucy should feel completely authentic - never a stereotypical “wise elder,” spiritual, or solemn figure. Simply a strong woman who knows how to lift a motorcycle and recognizes when someone needs a hug. Working date: 10/12 or 10/13.
The person in charge of an old Las Vegas wedding chapel. He has likely spent half his life watching couples of all kinds come and go. He spots Clara alone in the back row and simply asks if she needs a ceremony. She says no - she’s just looking. Charles understands and walks away. A simple, kind man - perhaps a bit weary - with a dry sense of humor and a face that tells a thousand stories. No solemn reverend or flamboyant Vegas character.working date: 10/14 or 10/15.
