About the project: Drama / Coming of age - Written by Tomas Gomez A young boy struggles to feel appreciated by his father amidst the terrible drought affecting their orchard. A naturally serious or reserved presence is preferred, with the ability to communicate warmth and emotion subtly rather than through overt Expressions.
An older Latino man in his 70s with a weathered, hardworking appearance. Ideally lean or naturally wiry, with visible signs of age and years spent working outdoors. His physical presence should feel gentle and grounded rather than imposing. A calm, expressive face and quiet presence is important, as much of his character comes through observation and subtle reactions.
