MIRELLA KINGSTONFemale35-39 y.o.All ethnicities

Lead Mirella is an aspiring writer with spastic hemiplegia/hemiparesis cerebral palsy. She has a spicy attitude and a sharp personality, but underneath it is a deeply caring and tender heart. Mirella’s Physicality: We welcome performers with lived experience of hemiplegia or hemiparesis cerebral palsy (CP), as well as non-disabled performers who are open and willing to learn and respectfully portray this specific physicality.

NOLAN MITCHELLMale35-39 y.o.All ethnicities

Lead Nolan has a blue-collar sensibility. He is kind, hardworking, good-natured, and has a natural sense of humor. Nolan's Facial Hair: The character initially has a somewhat scruffy, casual look with facial whiskers, but remains attractive. Performers must be open to growing out this scruff and fully comfortable with cleanly shaving or trimming it to reflect a story timeline change (the grooming does not happen on camera).

LOLA KINGSTONFemale40-96 y.o.All ethnicities

Supporting Lola is Mirella’s aunt, with a comforting, nurturing, and wise presence. She is warm and caring but also has a bit of a spicy attitude and isn’t shy to speak her mind. The role calls for a performer whose appearance can credibly portray Mirella's aunt and family resemblance.

RYAN WETZELMale40-44 y.o.All ethnicities

Supporting Ryan is bold, sophisticated, and somewhat strict, with a blunt personality. He has a polished, white-collar presence with a subtle country air. He speaks his mind, has a hard time reading the room, and holds some prejudiced views.
