Lead (Devin): This role requires a subtle, emotionally layered performance that builds toward an intense breakdown.
Supporting Lead Brother and Best Friend of Devin. Their relationship should feel natural, teasing, and deeply familiar, making his absence feel even more painful.
Supporting Lead (the boy’s mother) Concerned, emotionally tired, and trying to support her son while grieving the loss of another child. Must communicate maternal concern, fear, and grief.
Supporting Lead Calm, patient, compassionate, and professional. Gives Devin space to speak without pressuring him, eventually helping him confront his grief, guilt, and self-harm.
