About the project: The film follows Hannah after a series of strange events start happening around her. As people begin to question what really happened, friendships start falling apart and Hannah has to figure out who she can actually trust. Additional information: Will be filmed in Calgary and surrounding areas. Location: Calgary and surrounding areas Genre: Teen mystery/psychological thriller/ drama. Lead role. Smart, sarcastic, stubborn and emotional. Hannah is put into a situation where people start suspecting her of things she didn’t do. This role has a lot of emotional scenes, including fear, anger, grief and more intense moments.
Hannah’s best friend. She’s smart and observant but is hiding things from the people around her. She gets caught between guilt, fear and loyalty. This role has quite a few emotional scenes.
Hannah’s best friend and closest ally. Funny, loyal and protective. He really cares about Hannah and is one of the few people who continues to believe her. This role needs good chemistry with whoever plays Hannah.
Calm, intelligent and manipulative. She’s one of the main antagonistic characters. I’m looking for someone who can play a character who seems normal and controlled while still being intimidating.
Hannah’s older brother. Protective but complicated. He cares a lot about Hannah but can also be overprotective and angry because of everything that has happened. There are some more emotional scenes between Max and Hannah.
Observant and skeptical. Noah starts noticing things that don’t add up and begins questioning what actually happened. More of a serious and grounded character.
Blunt, emotional and suspicious. He isn’t afraid to say what he thinks, even when he’s wrong. His character becomes more aggressive as the story goes on.
High school principal. Professional, serious and authoritative.
High school teacher. A smaller supporting role with classroom scenes.
Mira’s dad. Supporting parent role.
Eli’s mom. Supporting parent role.
Eli’s dad. Supporting parent role.
Supporting role involved in the investigation.
Detective involved in the investigation and Hannah’s interview. Serious and professional.
