"Ghosted" Student Movie Seeking Cast

About the project: Logline: Three friends are gearing up for a Halloween party when their ride, Sam, finally arrives; except Mara and Leo can't see or hear him. As the night goes on and nothing Sam does registers with his friends, all three begin to realize that something is terribly, wrong. Summary: Mara and Leo are waiting on Sam, late as always; to drive them to a Halloween party. When a knock finally comes, Leo opens the door to an empty porch, just as Sam slips past him into the room unseen. What starts as Sam assuming he's the target of a prank curdles into confusion, then fear, as texts and notifications come from empty air and neither Mara nor Leo can see or hear him standing right in front of them. As the three of them piece together what's happening in real time, the truth dawns on them: Sam never made it to the house at all. Additional info: A non union casting call. Calm and even keeled by default, but pressure flips a switch, and he jumps on things fast, once pushed. Cares deeply about his friends, though agitation brings out a spiteful, cutting edge he doesn't always mean.
A jokester who loves pulling pranks and never quite reads the room; low situational awareness, always a little oblivious to how a moment is actually landing. Chronically late to everything, no matter the stakes.
