About the project: Logline: When Massimo, a ten year old, decides to skip going home to spend the day with his best friend Nico, the two end up experiencing an afternoon of childhood mischief, laughter, and adventure. Yet when his mother finally comes to take him home, Massimo is forced to confront the painful reality he has been avoiding: his father, who has been seriously ill for months, has returned home in critical condition, forcing him to find the courage to face this new familial reality.
