About the project: Broadway’s most hilarious farce, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, follows a sly Roman slave, Pseudolus, who will do anything to win his freedom—including pulling the wildest schemes to help his young master win the girl next door. With mistaken identities, outrageous disguises, and Stephen Sondheim’s brilliant score, Forum promises fast-paced comedy and endless fun. Additional info: Callbacks January 14, 2026 Performances April 17, 18, 24, 25, May 1, 2, and 8 at 8 PM April 26, May 3, and 9 at 2 PM Be prepared to arrive 15 minutes before your time slot begins and be prepared to stay for the full 40-minute slot. Auditionees will either sing first, participate in theatre games first, or vice versa. You only need to sign up for one slot. Please prepare 16–32 bars of a song that shows off your vocal range and storytelling ability. Sondheim is encouraged but not required. See Rehearsal Schedule attached.
