"Breaker Breaker" - Two-Act Play
BREAKER BREAKER is a new two-act play about Ian and Nathaniel, two former friends who wrote and played together as a country music duo before they had a falling out. Now forty years old, Ian has been plugging away as a singer/songwriter in Nashville ever since, forsaking his love life and fully committing to his career, but he’s starting to feel like it’s all going nowhere. Living in Memphis, Nat gave up music years ago to focus on being a husband and father, but now he’s on the brink of divorce, his son has graduated high school and moved to Los Angeles, and he’s out of a job. With a crucial showcase coming up, Ian asks Nat to help him write a new song. As they navigate their unresolved issues with each other and their loved ones, Ian and Nat set out to write a song that they hope will light the way forward.
