About the project: Dancing at Lughnasa is a memory play narrated by the grown-up Michael, son of sister Christina. He remembers a summer he spent with the sisters in their shared cottage in the small village of Ballybeg when he was 7-years-old. During the summer, the sisters’ elder brother Jack returns from a 25-year mission in Uganda and Michael’s unreliable father Gerry makes an appearance. Additional info: Rehearsals to be held at the WTC Space at 1714 28th Street in Sacramento. Mon. - Thurs., 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM Feb. 9th - March 19th Potential weekend rehearsals as needed. Tech week will take place at the Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center black box theater. March 22nd - 26th, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Performances will take place at the Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center black box theater. March 27th - April 12th, Fridays & Saturdays @ 7:30 PM Sundays @ 2:00 PM Please bring a resume and headshot, if you have them. Please apply if interested.
