Details: Auditions will be held on November 18, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an original comedy/drama/musical. Performances are scheduled for February 6, 7, 8, 13, and 14, with tech week starting February 2 and an extra rehearsal on February 12. Rehearsals run throughout January on weekday evenings from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Singing is required, and applicants should prepare music suitable for the production. (G3 – E5) School teacher, jogger, constantly doing things, a cheerful giver, helps others, never still. Like her name, she always has a positive, upbeat attitude. She loves life so much realizes how precious every day is, and wants to get every drop out of living.
(C4 – D5) Sweet and gentle personality, but has lapses of dementia and is a hypochondriac. She wanders around town in her own little world. Neighbors worry about her, and everyone looks after her. Best friend of Rhody since childhood.
(E4 – F5) Fragile-looking African American woman whose appearance betrays her strong, sometimes outspoken character. She sits on her porch rocking chair, ready to visit with everyone. People often stop by for her advice. Her life is centered around her church and the Bible.
