Description:

The company is holding auditions for "The Outsiders" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. About the project: Set in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1960s, The Outsiders tells the unforgettable story of two rival groups divided by social class—the working-class Greasers and the privileged Socs. Through the eyes of Ponyboy Curtis, we witness a world of conflict, loyalty, and loss—but also compassion, courage, and hope. At its heart, this play is about finding understanding across divides and recognizing the humanity that connects us all. It asks each character—and each of us—to see beyond stereotypes and discover the shared story underneath. Additional info: Auditions will consist of movement, improvisation, and readings from the script. The director encourages all participants to bring openness, curiosity, and a willingness to collaborate. In addition, those auditioning should be prepared to share a brief 1–2 minute personal story about a time they felt like an “outsider.” This story does not need to be overly serious—it can be funny, reflective, or sincere—but should come from a genuine personal experience. The goal is to connect authentically to the play’s central theme of belonging and empathy.
