About the project: Emma struggles with disturbing nightmares, hallucinations, and an unexplainable hunger that grows more unbearable each day. As her reality begins to unravel, she becomes convinced something dark is consuming her from the inside leading to a violent, tragic spiral that threatens the person she loves most. Rate: Non-Union. This is an unpaid volunteer project, however directors will provide IMDb credits, meals/snacks, footage for your reel, and a supportive and collaborative set. Emma is exhausted, withdrawn, and emotionally overwhelmed. She is dealing with a hunger that is not physical, but psychological and supernatural. She oscillates between fragile vulnerability and eerie stillness. Requires strong emotional range (crying, panic, fear, numbness, and intensity). Looking for: expressive face, ability to play dissociation and internal torment.
Emma’s roommate and closest friend—grounded, assertive, and practical. She is caring, but exhausted from carrying emotional weight in the relationship. As Emma declines, Laura grows frustrated, then fearful. Looking for: someone who can deliver warmth and firm boundaries, shifting into eerie calm in the final act.
Laura’s new partner. Warm, charismatic, and grounded. Sage brings lightness and warmth to the home—unknowingly walking into a volatile dynamic. Sage is not the villain nor the cause, but becomes the tragic casualty. Looking for: someone who can play natural, affectionate intimacy and grounded realism.
