About the project: SYNOPSIS: Robert attempts to gain his future in-laws' approval by staying the night at their house where he must overcome his fear of bears and his future father-in-law, Frank. Rate: Copy, credit, meals. Additional info: Non-union. Production type: production I. Expected audition date: TBA Project length: short film, apx 5-6 minutes. Shoot dates: February 20th-22nd. LEAD. Robert is an anxious fiancé who has a fear of bears and his future father-in-law Frank. He has a panic attack and rips up a teddy bear.
Preferably bald. Frank is an intimidating and overbearing father and father-in-law who only wants the best for his daughter Sarah. Frank is also the voice of a Teddy Bear.
Carol is a bear obsessed woman who loves her family. She is the comedic relief of the film. Some singing will be required.
Sarah has been recently engaged to Robert. Carol and Frank are her parents. Nothing that her parents do or say is really out of the ordinary for her. She is a very supportive fiancée to Robert and wants to keep the peace between her parents and her future husband.
