About the project: ABOUT THE PROJECT: Head Over Feels is a short film being produced as the final project of a high school student filmmaker. This is a non-union, unpaid production, created for educational and portfolio purposes. All participants will receive credit, snacks, and a copy of the finished film. LOG LINE: A shy middle schooler struggles to talk to the new girl—until his confidence and doubt take physical form and start arguing over what he should do. PLOT SUMMARY: Liam is just trying to survive another ordinary school day when a new student, Hazel, walks into the hallway and instantly catches his attention. Before he can figure out what to say, his thoughts come to life—literally—as Ego and Humility, two opposing versions of his inner voice, start battling it out in his head. With their nonstop arguing and awkward timing, Liam has to decide whether to listen to the loud confidence or the quiet truth within him before he misses his chance to make a real connection.
