About the play: "Shakespeare in Love" is a witty, romantic stage comedy set in Elizabethan London, where young William Shakespeare finds inspiration and forbidden love with Viola de Lesseps, a noblewoman who dreams of acting, ultimately sparking the creation of his masterpiece, “Romeo and Juliet”. Rate: All non-Equity participants will receive an honorarium in recognition of their time and talent. Additional information: Callbacks: Dec 2 – 1 PM Dec 3 – 6 PM REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Rehearsals start February 11, 2026, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday evenings, and all day Saturdays. PERFORMANCE DATES: April 3 – 25. Thursdays: 7:30 PM Fridays: 7:30 PM Saturday Matinee: 2:00 PM Saturday: 7:30 Sunday Matinee: 2:00 PM. 1. Bring a resume which includes your name, contact information, theatrical experience, training, and any special skills or interesting facts. 2. A professional head shot is not required; a clear recent photo is acceptable. Please attach this photo to your resume and bring it with you to your audition. 3. Auditions will be scheduled. After reviewing your materials, you will be sent further details via email. 4. Sides will be provided for the audition. 5. People who are asked to attend a callback will be asked to come back for a specific role, and each person will be sent specific material to learn.
