About the project: Synopsis: A middling night on the town is cut short for a young man when he’s overwhelmed by the people around him and impulsively leaves. On the way back, he struggles with feelings of loneliness and self-inflicted ostracization in his car, desperately attempting to drown out the awkward silence any way he can. This only makes it more and more apparent for himself, culminating in a messy breakdown parked in his driveway. Trying to feign nonchalance, he has a quiet conversation with his father, where he asks if there’s something wrong with him. No answer is satisfying.
