Takumi is a Japanese-Canadian teenager who often hides his emotions behind a calm and quiet exterior. He’s thoughtful and observant but struggles to express what he truly feels—especially toward Kyoko, a classmate who is about to return to Japan. Caught between two cultures and two languages, Takumi’s journey is about finding the courage to speak from the heart before it’s too late. Must able to speak Japanese.
Kyoko is a Japanese exchange student spending a year in Canada. She’s warm, curious, and full of life—the kind of person who makes others feel comfortable just by being around. Behind her cheerful smile, though, she hides the quiet sadness of having to leave people and places she’s come to love. Must able to speak Japanese.
