About the project: Colors of Life follows the journey of Lola, a woman who moves into a new apartment in a city drained of vibrancy and warmth. Lola must confront the difficulties of not being able to speak the new native language. At first, her surroundings feel empty and hollow and visibly gray, a reflection of her own isolation. The tone shifts when she meets new people in her journey. Lola continues on her journey when she ventures into the city, allowing herself to finally feel welcome in this new city and change her whole worldview. Rate: No Pay Additional info: Note this is a nonverbal film. Performers should prepare to convey emotion and inner change through facial expression, physicality, and pacing rather than spoken dialogue. Focus on subtle, truthful reactions that communicate thought and feeling. Be prepared to take direction during your audition.
