She's active, driven, and never afraid to take initiative. When she first encounters vampires, she assumes they're just part of a subculture, a group of goths, or a cult at worst. But everything changes after she meets vampire Victor and is forced to accept the unthinkable: these creatures are real.

Tall (1.78-1.90 m), slim/athletic, attractive, enigmatic presence Note: Introspective and mysterious vampire Victor is a vampire. Although he looks about thirty, he was born more than a century ago. Pale-skinned, dark-haired, tall and lean with refined, aristocratic features, he is a European nobleman. Cultured and highly educated, he composes music and is deeply knowledgeable about wine, painting, and architecture. Reserved, intelligent, and perceptive, Victor carries a quiet intensity

Note: Photographer and journalist of the paranormal. Simon Cook is a photographer for the magazine Supernatural Daily. Talented, kind, and down-to-earth, he's the one who invites Mia to share her strange misadventure. At first, like Mia, he assumes there's nothing supernatural to it. When Mia starts pulling away, however, Simon realizes that she's in trouble and wants to help her, never imagining what he's truly stepping into.

Physical: Medium height (1.63-1.73 m), slim/toned, striking features, glamorous and dark look. Must be comfortable wearing sensual wardrobe. Note: Seductive, cruel, and provocative vampire. Stella (23) is a vampire. The one behind the red mask at the masquerade. Billy's friend. Spoiled, a little hysterical. Dresses in a rock 'n' roll style. She's menacing. Cruel.

Physical: Medium-tall height (1.75-1.88 m), strong build, broad shoulders, intimidating physique. Note: Dominant and dangerous vampire. Billy (25) is a vampire. The one behind the black mask at the masquerade. He treats humans like food. He throws masquerade parties where he kills humans. His dressing style is rock 'n' roll. Punk. Arrogant, cocky. He is the ringleader of the group.

Physical: On the chubbier side, moustache preferred. Note: Boss. Owner of Supernatural Daily. Mr. Bow (55) is the owner of the Supernatural Daily magazine. A "reasonable eccentric," he knows how to run a business and exactly what kinds of stories appeal to his readers. Although he has never personally seen anything unusual, deep down he has always dreamed of it. He's the quickest to accept the truth about vampires and werewolves.

Physical: Medium-tall height (1.73-1.85 m), average build, face with a tired/nervous air. Note: Mysterious, serves as a bridge between humans and vampires. Frederic (30) hopes to become a vampire. Billy promised to turn him, and for the sake of "eternal life," Frederic is willing to do anything. He helped Billy set up the party where Mia ended up.

Physical: Similar to Victor, athletic but with a more relaxed and social demeanor. Note: Victor's brother. More sociable and lighthearted. Dustin (19) is a vampire. Truly young and still naïve, he is Victor's brother-not by birth, but because they were both adopted by the one who turned them. Loyal to his family, he avoids confrontation whenever possible.

Physical: College student appearance, friendly, slim to medium build, any height. Note: Mia's roommate. Funny and close. Trisha is Mia's classmate and roommate in her college dorm. Cheerful, carefree, and a party girl.

Physical: Any build. Energetic/fun look, must look convincing dressed as Dracula. Note: Brief cameo. Cosplayer is the first person Mia meets at the Vampire Masquerade. He's human, welcoming towards Mia, playful and has a bit of a mocking tone.
