About the project: A weekly support group of zombie apocalypse survivors have a new member, Jerrick. Jerrick shares his story with the group from the beginning. During his travels, he meets companions, each of which have their own story to tell. Rate: Non-Union. Full volunteer. IMDB credit provided, plus crafty on day of. Additional information: AUDITION LOCATION online-only/Zoom. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S) November 8-12, 2025. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S) Burnaby/New Westminster. SUBMISSION DEADLINE October 8, 2025. No acting experience necessary for application. These are small parts, however crucial to the story. The roles below will be one day commitments. SUPPORTING. AA member who is grief-stricken by the death of his best friend. Convincing, profound and well-spoken. Feels drawn to Jerrick. Scenes: 2 NOTE for Garth: Very important character to me. Possibility for a spin-off film in the near future. Looking for a truly dedicated actor.
SUPPORTING. AA member who opposes Jerrick’s story at the meeting. Charming, but lacks remorse- possibly unstable. Scenes: 2.
BETTY: PRINCIPLE. AA chairperson who acts as a sponge for the group’s tension. Scenes: 2.
NON SPEAKING. Seeking 20-25 extras who are willing to commit 4-6 hours out of their day to be super scary and awesome zombies. In this story, the zombies are innate hunters. A few walkers is fine. Makeup application and removal on set. No film experience necessary. Must be comfortable with running. Wardrobe provided. All zombies get a credit. Open to stunt actors.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. NON SPEAKING. x4 extras, will be day players. 4-5 hour commitment.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Basketball zombie who does a few dribble moves and runs at Caleb. Has a line. Basketball skills are a necessity.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. A principal. Zombie who is dressed in goalie gear during a dream sequence and gets scored on. Must be comfortable wearing red-eye contacts. Road hockey gear an asset.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. SUPPORTING. European. A cold, mild-tempered landscaper who joins Jerrick on his journey. Dad of Jerrick’s best friend, Sasha.
