Casting Call for "A Christmas Carol" A Live Radio Play
Males and females wanted for "A Christmas Carol" radio play. See the details below. About the project: The Charles Dickens holiday classic comes to life as a live 1950s radio broadcast — complete with vintage commercials for fruitcake (extra-fancy), the magic of live sound effects, and live piano underscoring. Written as a “play within a play,” the audience steps into a radio studio on Christmas Eve, where our actors are portraying radio performers who, in turn, bring Dickens’ story to life for a listening audience. A handful of performers cover dozens of voices and characters as Scrooge is led by three ghosts on a thrilling journey to discover the true meaning of Christmas. This charming, playful take on a family favorite will leave no one saying “Bah Humbug!” Additional info: Performances: December 4–14, 2025; Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
