Seeking male and female talent for "Frozen: The Broadway Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: This sparkling Disney fairytale has been reimagined for the stage as a full-length musical that maintains the film’s enchanting music, including the iconic and award-winning song “Let It Go.” Theater stage magic will include spectacular set designs, dazzling special effects, and puppetry bringing Olaf the snowman and Sven the reindeer to life. Frozen is a powerful fable that captures the essence of sisterhood, self-discovery, and the enduring power of love, making it a magical and heartwarming experience for audiences of all ages. Rate: Youth actors do not receive monetary compensation. Additional info: Music: Please prepare 16–32 bars of a modern musical theatre selection. An accompanist will be provided. A Bluetooth speaker will also be available for those wishing to use a backing track or personal playback device. Singing a cappella (without accompaniment) is also acceptable. Acting will be evaluated at callbacks only. Dance: Learn a dance combo! All auditionees will learn a short dance combination with the show’s choreographer upon arrival. Wear clothing and shoes that allow you to move comfortably. Please bring tap shoes if you have them, and be prepared for an optional tap audition. All auditionees will be asked to demonstrate any special tumbling skills if they have them. Callbacks will take place on the following dates: Sunday, October 19 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Youth artists. Rehearsals: Frozen actors must be available for weeknight & weekend rehearsals from April 28th – June 4th. Rehearsals will be held at our downtown location.
