Casting Call for "Drinking Habits" Stage Play
"Drinking Habits" play casting actors. See more info below. Additional info: Please provide ALL conflicts from October 12th through February 1st on the audition form attached, including all holiday travel dates. Conflicts that arise after casting may lead to recasting of a role. Please dress in comfortable clothing for improvisational exercises. Physical comedy is a MUST for this true comedic farce. Call backs, if necessary: Wednesday, October 8th at 7PM. The show runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm, January 16th through February 1st. Stern, commanding, and suspicious. Unaware of the wine-making operation. Tries to maintain order amid growing paranoia and confusion.
Earnest and well-meaning priest. Often bewildered by the chaos around him. Adds to the confusion with his own misunderstandings and assumptions.
A quirky, slightly ditzy nun. Secretly helps make wine to support the convent. Odd but endearing. Reluctant co-conspirator with a flair for comedic timing.
Witty, resourceful, and a bit mischievous. She’s the more grounded of the wine-making duo, often balancing Sister Philamena’s scatterbrained antics with her own dry humor and quick thinking.
New to the convent, bubbly and innocent with shifty eyes. Carries a secret that fuels much of the play’s chaos. Becomes increasingly unhinged as the farce unfolds.
Down-to-earth and observant. Often caught in the crossfire of mistaken identities and schemes. Adds a grounded, humorous contrast to the convent’s antics.
Investigative reporter and former fiancée to Paul. Goes undercover as a nun to expose the wine-making. Their romantic tension and sleuthing drive much of the plot’s momentum.
