Needs strong comedic timing and ability to balance exasperation with dry humor. The role requires excessive physical comedy choreography and some coordinated intimacy with female co-stars.
Charles’s second wife. Elegant, practical, and very grounded. Ruth is sharp, pragmatic and finds herself fighting to exorcize Elvira’s ghost and maintain her marriage. This is the only role that requires a less refined British accent, so please prepare a “below stairs” accent for your audition!
