However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to spend the summer in New York with her favorite nana quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget. It seems her sweet grandma is running an illegal boutique from her apartment selling handmade naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five-borough area! Will Bridget be able to handle all the excitement? Will her nana get arrested – or worse – evicted? Additional info: See the form attached. A law student spending the summer with her grandmother. She’s practical, responsible, and a bit uptight—until she discovers Nana’s shocking secret.
Bridget’s spunky, sharp-witted grandmother who secretly runs a lingerie business for seniors out of her rent-controlled apartment. She’s bold, full of life, and not afraid to break a few rules.
A sweet and slightly awkward young cop who has a crush on Bridget. He’s earnest and a bit oblivious, but good-hearted and endearing.
Sylvia’s best friend and partner in crime. Loyal, chatty, and a little ditzy, she’s always ready to lend a hand—or make a mess.
A stern, snooty representative of the landlord’s office who’s determined to catch Sylvia breaking the rules. She’s uptight and takes herself very seriously.
Sylvia’s lawyer and friend. He’s exasperated by Sylvia’s antics but genuinely cares for her. Intelligent, dry-humored, and surprisingly tolerant.
Gil’s no-nonsense wife. She’s skeptical of Sylvia’s business and keeps a watchful eye on everything around her.
Appears briefly to deliver packages—adds a touch of comedy and surprise when boxes of lingerie show up at inopportune moments.
