Paid Production "Heel Heist" Seeks Performers
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking two lead actor roles in a campy, high-drama, whodunnit live shows happening this January in Vancouver. More details are below. Rate: Honorarium - $500 Flat Rate. Additional information: The roles are theatrical characters with scripted lines that are both performed live on stage (on mic) and feature certain pre-recorded scenes. Ideal actors will have comfortable levels of experience both with acting and hosting/MC roles. Show dates are Jan 16/17, 23/24, 30/31. Submissions close October 30th. Think: Elle Woods with a magnifying glass and way too much enthusiasm. This over-the-top amateur sleuth guides the audience (and herself) through the crime, always one glittery step ahead. She’s chaotic, comedic, and surprisingly brilliant, even when she doesn’t realize it.
