Owns and runs a dive bar on the verge of going under. When Zara returns he finds himself battling a confusing mix of relief, re-awoken trauma, loss, grief, and longing while coming to terms with his current reality versus what-should-have-been. Rugged, a bit rough around the edges; protective yet gentle, downtrodden yet perseverant. Emotionally mature and in tune with his softer side (and not afraid to show it.) Above all, he wants to keep Zara safe. LEAD. Tattoos are a plus.
An out of place regular at the bar. Nerdy, socially awkward, and unsure of themselves, Max navigates the world as if (s)he never received a copy of the map. When we next meet Max, a lot has changed. Now running from a haunted past, (s) he is more confident, assertive, and in control. (S)He is determined to accomplish a seemingly impossible task ahead. SUPPORTING. *The actor must be able to portray both sides of Max truthfully. While we only see the first side briefly, it is important.
Deeply complex, charismatic, sophisticated, charming, & intelligent. Kingston is the owner of Kingston Corp & considered a visionary by many. He can win over even the toughest of crowds without coming across slimy or inauthentic. A crisp, tailored, high-end suit kind of guy with a mysterious past. There is more to him than meets the eye. He has set out to fix the problems he sees in the world - by any means necessary. SUPPORTING. *though a very small part, he is a pivotal lead character.
A trauma doctor sucked into a situation outside of his/her control has left him/her rigid and angry at the world. The one place (s)he comes alive is when (s)he is working. Saving, healing, and helping patients, especially the rebels, fulfills his/her desire to do some good in the world after playing a more sinister role. SUPPORTING.
