Actors needed for "Camp Hallow" feature film. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the roles below. About the project: GENRE: Horror/Thriller. SYNOPSIS: When a group of counselors stays behind to close up Camp Hallow on Halloween night, their playful banter and ghost stories around the fire give way to real terror as a masked figure emerges from the woods. What begins as a night of teasing about local legends tied to the camp’s dark past turns into a desperate fight for survival, as Maddie, the newest counselor, is forced to confront both the chilling history of the land and a relentless pursuer who will stop at nothing to fulfill their mission. Lead. Maddie is smart, capable, and a bit sarcastic, hiding vulnerability under a laid-back exterior. She’s new to Camp Hallow and eager to finish her work, but when chaos erupts, she becomes a determined survivor, using her instincts and quick thinking to fight back. This role requires an actor who can convey fear, grit, and emotional depth while carrying the story. Additionally, this will be a physical role including running, hiding, and basic fighting with the villain.
Supporting. A longtime counselor at Camp Hallow, Tom is the easygoing “big brother” type with a dry sense of humor and a genuine protective streak. Confident but not cocky, he grounds the group with his humor and loyalty, and his connection with Maddie adds emotional weight to the escalating tension.
Supporting. Mid-20s. Cindy is a no-nonsense camp counselor with a quick wit and a tough exterior. She doesn’t suffer fools easily, often keeping Jake’s awkward advances at arm’s length, but beneath her guarded demeanor is a young woman carrying the weight of a difficult family history. Smart, resilient, and unafraid to call people out, Cindy balances humor with depth, making her both approachable and mysterious.
Supporting. A film buff and camp counselor from the ‘90s, Jake is charming in an awkward, goofy way. His unrequited crush and easy banter with Cindy set up the tragedy of his encounter with the masked killer. Needs an actor who can lean into humor but feel authentic and sympathetic. This will be a physical role including running, hiding, and basic fighting with the villain.
Supporting. Taylor is bold, flirtatious, and thrives in the spotlight — the life of the party IF she feels the party is worthwhile. She’s a rich kid who is only working there because it “looks good” on resumes and her parents make her. She hides her nerves and insecurities under her bravado.
Supporting. Beth is the resident goth of the group — sarcastic, dry, brutally honest, and not easily rattled. She brings an edge to the dynamic but has a quiet loyalty to her friends that surfaces in moments of crisis.
