Open auditions for production of "Wuthering Heights". See the breakdown below. About the project: Synopsis: On the desolate moors of Yorkshire comes a tale of love, revenge, heartbreak and obsession. When Heathcliff is adopted by the Earnshaw family, he quickly falls in love with Catherine Earnshaw. Because of his mysterious origins, Heathcliff is mistreated and abused by Catherine's brother and a neighbor hoping for her hand in marriage. Forced apart from one another, Heathcliff is deprived of education and kindness. Upon hearing Catherine say it would degrade her to marry him, he runs away without a trace. Returning after three years, all forms of Heathcliff's prior degradation has vanished and he has returned a rich gentlemen. All aspects of him seem to have completely changed but one: His love for Catherine. Additional info: Bring a non contemporary monologue and please be prepared to cold read with a scene partner.
