The Polar Express Train Ride (Oklahoma City)
Seeking Actors, Singers, and Dancers for The Polar Express™ Train Ride, an hour-long live production based on the film by Warner Bros. The show includes scripted scenes, live singing, dancing, and a great deal of audience interaction. All performances take place aboard a slow-moving train from the Oklahoma Railway Museum in Oklahoma City. There are 2-5 rides per show day. Appointment & Open Call Auditions are August 21st - 23rd in Oklahoma City. Visit our website to submit for an audition and for more information. Rates: All Roles (except Santa): $18/hr Santa: $25.50/hr Actors will not work every day of the run, but we are seeking actors with full availability. Actors will be divided into 3 casts (Red, Green, and Blue) and will be on a rotation schedule with 2 casts working per show day. Thanksgiving & Christmas Day OFF. LOCAL HIRE ONLY. Housing/transportation not provided.

Singers/Actors, all ethnicities, any gender, to play 20-30; outgoing, joy-filled, energetic, personable, team-player. Actors will perform scripted scenes, holiday songs, and the "Hot Chocolate" song/dance. Role also includes a great deal of audience interaction.
Dancers/Strong Movers who Act to play 20-25, all ethnicities, any gender; energetic, kind, effusive, loves kids. Simple but high energy dancing required. Role also includes a great deal of audience interaction. Non-singing role.
Male-identified actor, all ethnicities, to play 35-55; stern/stoic to goofy, charming, high-energy, personable with a slight serious side. Simple singing and choreography required for the "Hot Chocolate" song.
Male-identified actor, all ethnicities, to play 25-35; high-energy, assertive, gruff, strong-voiced, imposing while masking a joyful heart. Non-singing role.
Male-identifying actor, all ethnicities, to play 45+; Warm, formidable, sincere, full of real joy. Non-singer. Natural beard/mustache is not required. Slightly younger actors with commanding presence are welcome to submit.
