Description:

Casting call for original horror production: "A Good Reason To Be Afraid". Looking for actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: As night settles around Yellow Leaf State Park, unfamiliar campers gather around a campfire and begin telling spooky stories. There's an inexperienced young couple on spring break, an experienced survivalist with strong opinions about the government, and two old friends beginning their annual tradition. After a crank-powered radio alerts them of a killer loose in the park, stabbing people around campfires, they begin to turn on each other. Their campfire stories take new form, communicating views too difficult to say outright. The night turns deadly, leaving the survivors in danger not only of some mysterious stabber but of their fellow campers as well. A Good Reason To Be Afraid is an original play that tells stories within stories. Some of these campfire stories are monologues, others are fully staged scenes that cast their fellow campers in various roles. Additional info: Campfire Story Characters played by actors from below: FELIX: (played by Dana) Picture perfect, Suburban Husband. Huge Earl Nightingale fan. His charm hides a controlling nature.
