ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Looking for cast for a short film "Murphy". Please, see the details below. About the project: Laurie and Murphy are the greatest of friends. They have been since they were seven-they even live together now. When Laurie is superstitious about an upcoming audition, Murphy is perfectly reassuring. When Laurie wants to keep a secret about a crush, Murphy doesn't prod. Slowly, however, Murphy's reassurances seem to magically provoke opposite scenarios. As Laurie struggles with coincidence, she resorts to managing failure the only way her superstition permits; by praying that all the bad will inversely and eventually, make her a better writer. Rate: Non-union/unpaid, meals and transportation will be provided. Additional information: Shoot dates: Sept. 27-30, 2025. Locations: MTL area - TBC. Unaware of her powers both real and surreal, Murphy is Laurie's grounded, cool, and extremely caring confidante.
