About the play: "Super Seniors" is a hilarious, honest look at the lives of three centenarian women who reside in the Fairfield Care home. The show strikes a delicate balance between the funny and awful aspects of extreme old age. Although it's a comedy, all the characters are grounded in reality. Please have fun, but keep the performances truthful. Additional information: Rehearsals start August 17. Show runs September: 18-21, possibly Sept. 29 - 31. Submsison deadline: August 16, 2025. 105 yrs old: Educated, smart, loves animals but is done with living - she wants to die.
105 yrs old: Has dementia but is still aware and enjoying life, she never feels sorry for herself. Loves music.
110 yrs old - Has had real difficulties in life that she's overcome, has a great attitude towards life, and wants to live forever.
Occupational therapist. Kind, creative, loves his job. Just doing his job, putting in time. Cameron and Server are played by the same actor.
Psychologist and counsellor. Once loved her job but is now jaded and burned out. By the book. Cute, bubbly, shallow, ambitious. Tyla and the T.V. Reporter are played by the same actor.
