Theater Audition in "Gaslight" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking actors for production of "Gaslight". More details are below. About the play: Bella Manningham is afraid that she is losing her mind, just as her mother did before her. Her own home seems to have taken on a malevolent presence with valuable items going missing and objects being moved. Are the servants to blame, with some kind of vendetta against her? Then one evening, when her husband Jack has gone out, a stranger appears with a story to tell. Tension remains high as the plot builds -- what will happen to Bella? Additional information: Show dates are October 16, 17, 18 and 22, 23, 24, 2025. All shows take place in Toronto. First read-through (if cast): Sunday August 24, 2025 from 2 to 4 pm. Rehearsal days and locations: Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:00 pm starting August 26. Exception is Sunday October 12 (Thanksgiving weekend). Sunday rehearsals will generally on Tuesday/Thursday rehearsals. Show dates and location: All technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and shows take place in Toronto. Evening shows at 7:30 pm October 16 (Thur), October 17 (Fri), October 18 (Sat), October 22 (Wed), October 23 (Thur), October 24 (Fri) Matinee October 18 at 1:30 pm (Sat).
