"The Miss Firecracker Contest" Audition for the Theater

About the project: Theatre presents The Miss Firecracker Contest, a heartwarming and hilarious southern tale that follows Carnelle as she attempts to reinvent herself by entering the local beauty pageant. With a colorful cast of characters—her polished cousin Elaine, Elaine’s eccentric brother Delmount, a quirky new friend named Popeye, and the charming but worn Mac Sam—Carnelle searches for confidence, connection, and a shot at redemption. Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script (solo and group). Rehearsal schedule TBD once the show is cast.
