"Heathers" the Musical in Search of Performers
Auditions for "Heathers" the musical. Casting actors. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: From Tony Award-nominated composer Laurence O’Keefe (Legally Blonde) and Emmy-winning writer Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness) comes Heathers The Musical—a wickedly funny, brutally honest, and surprisingly heartfelt adaptation of the 1988 cult classic film. Welcome to Westerberg High, September 1989. The hallways are ruled by a viciously stylish trio: Heather, Heather, and Heather—the most popular and feared girls in Ohio. That is, until smart, sardonic misfit Veronica Sawyer dares to stand up to them. Enter J.D., a brooding new student with a dangerous plan to bring the Heathers—and anyone else who gets in his way—down for good. Heathers The Musical is a razor-sharp, dark comedy packed with infectious songs, explosive energy, and a whole lot of heart. It’s a story about fitting in, standing out, falling in love, and surviving high school. Additional info: Please bring 16-32 bars of a song that shows off your vocal talent, with sheet music in the correct key for the provided accompanist. If you are auditioning for any of the named roles, it is highly encouraged that you sing from the show using music cuts attached. A change of clothes for the dance portion of the audition is encouraged. Callbacks: September 30, 2025 at 6 p.m. (by invitation only). If you are interested, please apply.
