Dancers Needed for Production of "The Nutcracker"

About the project: The classic Nutcracker returns to the stage this Christmas season. Come audition for this traditional dance production. Synopsis: The story of The Nutcracker is loosely based on the E.T.A. Hoffmann fantasy story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, about a girl who befriends a nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve and wages a battle against the evil Mouse King. After defeating the Mouse King, the Nutcracker Prince takes Clara through the Land of Snow and the Land of Sweets. In these lands, the pair are met with a celebration of dances, culminating in a dance by the Sugar Plum Fairy. Additional info: Those wishing to audition should come prepared to dance with appropriate clothing and shoes. Wear appropriate attire for dance, make sure hair is in place, and bring ALL your dance shoes. Only water is allowed in the Studio. Auditions are closed to observation. There is a tuition fee due at the first rehearsal. Depending on what roles you’re cast in, rehearsal days and times will differ for each dance. Rehearsals will be held Friday evenings and Saturdays.
