Casting Call for "If/Then" Play

Seeking male and female performers and singers for the "If/Then" show. For further information, see the details listed below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Synopsis Elizabeth, a city planner, moves back to New York to restart her life in the city of infinite possibilities. When her carefully designed plans collide with the whims of fate, Elizabeth's life splits into two parallel paths. If/Then follows both stories simultaneously, through a clever delineation between the two paths of “Liz” and “Beth,” as this modern woman faces the intersection of choice and chance. Additional info: Please arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled time to complete an audition form. No Equity contracts are available for this show. Callbacks if necessary, will occur the evening of Thursday, August 21. A dance call may be scheduled on Saturday, August 23 based on need/availability. Rehearsals will begin the week of September 1. The show runs November 8 - 23. The show will be directed by Tim Anderson, music directed by Ryan Bergeron, and choreographed by Reilly Davidson. Those auditioning should: * Plan to attend only one day of auditions. * Be familiar with the show and its music, language, and themes. * Prepare two one-minute, contrasting songs (one up-tempo, one ballad), at least one of these should be a folk/rock song in the style of the show. * Bring sheet music in the correct keys, hole-punched in a three-ring binder. Singers will not be permitted to sing a cappella. * Bring a list of conflicts between September 1 and November 22. To be considered, please apply.
