In this hilarious spoof of history and the beginnings of musical theatre, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play, only to find themselves overshadowed by the rockstar of the era - William Shakespeare. When a soothsayer predicts that the next big hit in theatre will be musicals, the Botyom brothers set out to create the world's very best song and dance extravaganza. Additional info: This is a PG 13 show filled with show stopping musical numbers - especially tap numbers. For auditions come prepared with: - Comedic monologue at least 60 sec. - 32 bars (at least) of Broadway song of your choice. - 30 sec of dance routine - can be tap, jazz, hop hop, lyrical.
