LEAD ROLE, SOUTH ASIAN. Warm, grounded, and magnetic, Ayesha works at an Indian grocery store but dreams of becoming an actor. She has a quiet strength and kindness to her, with a touch of wistfulness in her eyes. There’s an honesty and ease in her presence that draws Abraham in, even though she’s facing uncertainty about her future.
SUPPORTING ROLE. SOUTH ASIAN. A former dreamer turned HVAC trainee, Sadru is full of humor, wisdom, and heart. He becomes an unlikely mentor to Abraham. Sadru still believes in the power of dreams, even if he couldn’t realize his own. A comedic soul with an emotional undercurrent — think Irrfan Khan in a more grounded, domestic setting.
SUPPORTING ROLE. BIPOC. (pronounced ‘Kevin’)] A fast-talking HVAC sales trainer with performative charisma. Kayvan is intense and corporate — he buys into the hustle. There's a comedic absurdity to his motivational tactics, but he’s never a cartoon — just a guy trying to hype up people in a job he believes in.
