Casting Call for 'Acts of Love' Non-Union Short Film
Casting three roles for a short film shooting in Montreal between Sept. 6-9, 2025. Shoot dates vary based on the roles, but will be between 1 and 3 days. Rate of pay is $125/day. This is a NON-UNION short. Auditions will be via self-tape with possible zoom callbacks at the end of July. See below for role descriptions. Storyline: Attempting to gain closure after a devastating breakup, a man hires actors to reenact the events leading to his relationship’s demise—blurring lines between fact and fiction.

Scruffy. Has good hair but isn't necessarily handsome. Has seen some life. Emmett is self-conscious and defensive, yet tactless and judgmental of others. Strongly believes the world is out to get him. Emmett kisses Mary, she recoils immediately so there is no prolonged kiss.
