Singers/Dancers/Acrobatics for Seussical the Musical

Vocal Range: F2 - F4. Our story’s omniscient narrator, fun loving and enjoys rhyming. Pops up throughout the story to help the audience. Wise and attentive.

Vocal Range: A2 - F4. Our story’s main character, he is a compassionate and gentle elephant. Commonly misunderstood because of his larger size. He is protective and loving of all creatures in the Jungle.

Vocal Range: F3 - F5. Horton’s one-feathered-tail bird neighbor. Gertrude is sweet and timid. Though kind and loyal, she is also self-conscious of her shortfalls.

Vocal Range: G3 - Eb5 The most beautiful bird in the all of the jungle. Oblivious to her self-centered ways, she relies on her talent of manipulation and intoxicating beauty to navigate her way through life.

Vocal Range: F#3 - F5. The ‘leader’ of the jungle. She is loud, brassy, and stubbornly set in her ways. A caring mother, but unabashedly sassy and souful.

We are casting up to 6 individuals to play the Bird Girls whom back up Mayzie Labird and Gertrude Mcfuzz throughout the show. This is the main dance core of the show. Ponte, Ballet, Aerials, and general acrobatics are all welcomed to apply.

We are casting up to 4 individuals to play the Wickersham Brothers. This is our main acrobatics core for the show. Backflips, front flips, par core, and general acrobatics are welcome to apply.

We are casting up to 6 individuals for the Whoville ensemble. Soloists/Vocalists include the Mayor, the Mayor’s Wife, and General Genghis Khan Schmitz. This groups is our Vocal core of the show who will fill the sound in dance routines.
