“Join, or Die!” World Premiere Play Casting Actors
Seeking actors for world premiere play “Join, or Die!”. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: A horror-comedy about the constitution—with zombies! Somewhere in the former United States of America and sometime in the future, six people meet to work out the structure of a new government while zombies rampage outside. This show is somewhat immersive (you will interact with the audience). Note that some intimacy (kissing) is required between the actors cast as Kyle and Chris. Rate: Principal cast actors will be paid $900 plus a percentage of ticket sales assuming profit, ensemble actors will be paid $450 plus a percentage of ticket sales assuming profit. Payments will be made on closing day. Actors will be asked to assist in the strike process following the closing performance. Additional info: NOTE: ALL characters can be played by actors of any age, race or gender expression/identity. Rehearsals will be starting mid-July (likely 4 nights/week with some time on weekends).
