Actors wanted for production of "Drop Dead!" ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: "A cast of has-been actors putting on cheap bad staged performance of an English Murder Mystery called Drop Dead , directed by egotistical Victor Le Pewe. At the dress rehearsal everything falls apart the actors don’t know their lines or entrances and oh yeah the real murders start. But that is show business the show must go on." Additional info: Roles are open to performers of all races gender and identities, sexual orientations, body types and abilities. PREPARE: A 2 minute comic monologue. Callbacks will be on Wednesday August 27 (7pm). REHEARSALS: Rehearsals are planned for MONDAY, TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY EVENINGS STARTING AT 7pm OR TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY AT 7pm. A Legendary Stage Star past her prime. She is hard of hearing can’t remember her lines or her entrances.
The Inspector - A television repair man turned actor with a famous cousin – fumbling and bumbling bumps into all the scenery.
The Producer – Southern Tycoon – boisterous, bully – dates Candy Apples.
The Playwright - just out of rehab – goes ballistic and back to drinking because his play his ruined.
