About the project: Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. Additional info: Show date: September 19 – October 12, 2025 Thursday – Saturdays: 7:30PM | Sundays: 2:00PM *9/27 performance at 2:00PM Please prepare 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song that shows off your vocal range and personality. Please bring prepared sheet music (an accompanist will be provided) or an instrumental track on a device with a 3.5mm audio jack/aux. If auditioning as a dancer only (limited roles available), please be prepared to sing “Happy Birthday” a cappella solo or in a group. Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano Belt to C#5 Confident and high-spirited, Elle is the quintessential blonde Valley Girl who follows her boyfriend to Harvard Law School and realizes that she has so much more to offer than a pretty face. She lifts up those around her due to her intense drive and positivity.
Vocal Range: Tenor A smart and sensitive law student who takes Elle under his wing. He is charming, quirky, lovable, and friendly.
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano Belt The funny owner of Hair Affair, she is brash, caring and optimistic. She and Elle help each other achieve their dreams
Vocal Range: Tenor A pompous, smooth, authoritative, and manipulative law professor. He has a reputation for being an extremely strict and tough professor and a highly successful lawyer. He will do anything to get what he wants, regardless of morality.
Vocal Range: Tenor A good-looking but shallow and pompous guy who breaks Elle’s heart and heads off to Harvard Law. He cares deeply about what people think of him.
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano Belt to G#5 A smart, savvy and uptight law student, and Warner’s fiance, who initially dismisses Elle but grows to be her friend.
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano to G#5 An exercise video tycoon who is an alum of Elle’s sorority. She is energetic and charismatic yet currently on trial for her husband’s murder. REQUIRES SKILL/ENDURANCE ENOUGH TO PERFORM AEROBICS WHILE SINGING.
Vocal Range: Soprano/Mezzo Belter Enid is a strong, passionate and an outwardly feminist law student at Harvard who is skeptical of Elle and eventually becomes her friend. REQUIRES GREAT COMEDIC TIMING.
Vocal Ranges: Soprano/Mezzo/Alto Elle’s trio of best friends and sorority sisters who help her navigate the story by acting as a Greek Chorus. Serena is an energetic cheerleader, Margot is seemingly dim-witted and boy-crazy, and Pilar is the sassy and sensible one.
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano Belter The brainiest and quirkiest sorority sister in Delta Nu who helps Elle study to get into Harvard Law. Featured solo in “What You Want”.
An attractive, smooth-talking UPS delivery man; Paulette’s dream guy. Irish dance skills are a plus.
