About the project: Focusing on eight children during their Catholic elementary and high school education in the 1950s, this hilarious musical captures the funniest aspects of youthful growing pains and the trying moments of adolescence. Every number tickles the funny bone of anyone who ever went to school, public or private. It is a delightful show for schools. Additional info: PERFORMANCES 08/29/2025 (Fri) through 09/14/2025 (Sun) Thursday-Saturday shows begin at 7:30 PM Sunday performances begin. at 2:30 PM Auditions will be comprised of acting, singing, and dancing. You may bring sheet music for the accompanist to play or you may bring a recorded track to sing to. You will be taught a segment of one of the dance numbers in the show as your choreography portion. Each of you will read from the script with other auditioners. Monologues are not required

She has weight and body issues while she is young, but she gains confidence as she grows older, both because of and in spite of losing weight, which also does not go to her head.
